'Black Panther' actress Letitia Wright says 'Star Wars' actor John Boyega has the force of the Holy Spirit

"Black Panther" actress Letitia Wright, who is a Christian, recently gave a shout out to her friend "Star Wars" actor John Boyega on social media. The two met several years ago in a London acting school and got to know each other well because they shared the same beliefs in God.

In a post on Twitter, Wright shared a gif of Boyega holding the light saber from his famous blockbuster movie. She captioned the image, "The Holy Spirit is strong with this one," alluding to Boyega's faith.

Boyega recently talked about his friendship with Wright in an interview with The Grio. He shared that when they were still both taking classes at London's Identity School of Acting, he and Wright would sit together to talk about God in between breaks or after classes.

"We would speak about our spirituality, our relationship with God, prayer, and various other things," Boyega shared.

Boyega is a minister's son who was exposed to religion early in his life. His father wanted him to become a preacher but then relented to his son's wishes of becoming an actor with the condition that he didn't get into trouble.

The actor credits his faith for his successful career although he admitted he first thought that all he would get was acting jobs on faith-based movies because of his background. Aside from "Star Wars," Boyega will also appear in the follow-up movie to the blockbuster franchise "Pacific Rim: Uprising." He also starred in the top rating television series "24: Live Another Day."

Wright, on the other hand, admitted in an interview with Vanity Fair that she found her faith after struggling with depression. She took some time off from acting and gave up a chance to star with Nicole Kidman in a movie as she immersed herself in learning about Jesus Christ.

Now, Wright is using her star power as a platform to talk about her love for God and she's not afraid to do this even in secular Hollywood. She said: "Everybody has their thing that they're truthful about. My thing is just a love of God."

Wright will be seen next on the big screen with another Christian actor, Chris Pratt, in the highly anticipated film "Avengers 3: Infinity War," which opens in theaters this April.
