Retail giant Target has been facing a lot of backlash after it decided to let it staff and customers use store bathrooms corresponding to their personal gender identity.

The adverse public reaction has mostly been confined to online rants. However, on Mother's Day, May 8, the voice of opposition gained a face when a Bible-wielding mother stormed one of Target's stores with her husband and children in tow, Raw Story reports.

The mother's rant was captured on video and went viral on YouTube with over 58,000 views. "Attention Target customers," she yelled. "Do not be deceived, Target would have you believe with their Mother's Day displays that they love mothers and children. This is a deception. This is not love, and they've proven it by opening their bathrooms to perverted men. I'm a mother of 12, and I'm very disgusted by this wicked practice."

She then told the mothers shopping there to get their children out of the store as fast as they can. "Mothers, have enough decency to get out of this store, it's a dangerous place. What Target has done is very hateful. It's hateful towards families. It's hateful towards mothers. It's hateful towards children. Are you gonna let the devil rape your children?"

She accused America of "bowing to the homosexual perverted agenda," and said she would not waste her money shopping in an establishment that practices things that are "abominable in the sight of God."

As she neared the exit, one Target staff member shouted at her and told her to leave the store.

Earlier, Target issued a statement saying that "inclusivity" is one of its core beliefs and that it supports the federal Equality Act, which provides protection to members of the LGBT community.

"We stand for equality and equity, and strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day," the company's statement reads.

"In our stores, we demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive experience in many ways. Most relevant for the conversations currently underway, we welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity."

Because of Target's new restroom policy, over a million customers have threatened to boycott its stores. However, Target remains adamant in implementing the new policy.
