"Batman: Arkham Knight" has been complicated to rate, considering how its console ports have mostly been successful while its personal computer (PC) version has been lackluster. Still, there remains visible support from the fans for the game, and it's why some are wondering if there might still be new downloadable content (DLC) coming to "Batman: Arkham Knight."
At this point, it's tough to say whether "Batman: Arkham Knight" will still be getting new content, although the outlook doesn't look promising.
According to Movie News Guide, there's a possibility that the January update may be the one last ever released for "Batman: Arkham Knight," especially with rumors suggesting that the game's developing may be focusing more on other projects.
Warner Bros., the game's publisher, has also hinted at the possibility that a new series of games based on the Batman brand could also be announced soon, and if that is the case, then support for the current game might be wrapping up in the near future, if not already.
There's also one more rumor that would suggest that DLC support for "Batman: Arkham Knight" may be done.
Recently, the folks over at Design and Trend were able to spot what they believe to be the "Complete Edition" of "Batman: Arkham Knight" on the German version of Amazon.
For those who may not know, a "Complete Edition" of a game usually features the base offering itself along with all the DLC that has been made available for it.
If there is indeed a "Complete Edition" of "Batman: Arkham Knight" in the works, then that could be taken as a very strong indicator that there is no more new content coming to the game.
At this point, it looks like "Batman: Arkham Knight" players are simply hoping that the game is still set to receive new content.
As it stands now, "Batman: Arkham Knight" may already be completely finished.
