Anna Duggar's brother takes swipe at Josh after Jessa shared Bible passage about sin

A few months ago when Josh Duggar's child molestation police report resurfaced, the entire Duggar family's social media accounts went eerily silent. But right after the eldest Duggar child was forced to admit that he cheated on his wife Anna upon the revelation of his two paid Ashley Madison accounts, Jessa Seewald shared a Bible passage about sin and unrighteousness.

The verses she shared on Facebook came from 1 John 6-9. It says: "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the 'blood' of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Jessa did not leave any personal remark, but fans automatically assumed that the verses had something to do with what her elder brother did.

Anna's brother Daniel Keller seemed to think so, and he commented: "You have to confess and forsake your sin to have mercy. Not sin, confess, and repeat."

A Duggar fan tried to defend Josh by asking Daniel if he ever lied more than once in his life, because if he did, then he is a "repeat offender" as well. Daniel replied, "I know that my sin sent Jesus to the cross just as Josh's sin (did). But think for a (minute) about the victims. Tell me how you would feel if someone cheated on your sister and brought so much disgrace to you and ur family."

Despite Anna's commitments to her family, Daniel has been trying to convince her to leave Josh, even offering to pay for her to move out and stay with him. Daniel added that Josh does not even think of the Ashley Madison scandal as a big deal, and he is willing to bet his life that Josh has not experienced "true brokenness" yet.

He accused their parents of being "more interested in how (their) daughter getting a divorce will make them look" rather than wanting Josh, Anna, and the kids to get real help.

"I told her I would go get her and let her and her children stay (with) me. She said she's staying where she's at. But I won't stop trying to get that [expletive] out of our family," he said.
