Adorable Dog 'Rambo' Lines Up at the Ice-Cream Van Every Day to Get His Sweet Treat

Who could resist the cold and refreshing delight of an ice cream? In Alabama, not even a dog can say no to this cool treat.

Akins Luwoye, an ice cream truck driver from the northern city of Huntsville, has many loyal customers in the area, especially during summertime. But his most frequent buyer is unique because it has four legs: the two-year-old English bulldog named "Rambo."

The cute canine could not even reach the counter of Akins' ice cream truck, but this does not stop the dog from getting his favourite treat.

"This dog always gets ice cream from me while the owner is watching," Akins gleefully told WaayTV.com.

Ashish Silwal, the owner of the dog and a local resident, meanwhile shared how Rambo, after having his ice cream serving, will leave him to pick up the tab.

"He's like give me my ice cream, my dad will pay you," the dog owner shared.

Silwal recalled the first time Rambo saw the ice cream truck last year, and he could not contain his excitement.

"Rambo was all excited out of nowhere, and I was like okay, let's go get some popsicles, and next thing you know he's jumping in the truck," he said.

In a separate interview with ABC News, Silwal provided more details about how his dog started his ice cream obsession.

"He just heard the music one day and went crazy," the dog owner said. "When I took him outside, he ran straight to truck, and the driver gave him a popsicle. Now, whenever he hears the music, he wants a popsicle."

Now, Silwal said Rambo will start "jumping up and down everywhere in excitement" whenever he hears the jingle from the ice cream truck. He also shared his dog's favourite ice cream flavour: coconut.

Akins, for his part, shared how Rambo is really one unique and loyal customer. "Other dogs on my route, when they hear the music, they're scared. But he is not scared, so it's unique," the ice cream truck owner said.
