Ben and Jessa Seewald received a pleasant surprise recently when a stranger gifted them with an act of kindness when they went to a fast food drive-through to get Ben's morning coffee fix. The man's act of kindness inspired Jessa to share a Gospel lesson on her social media page.

On her Instagram account (@jessaseewald), the pregnant Jessa shared a photo of Ben happily holding up his free iced coffee then wrote, "Went through the drive through to grab a coffee for Ben this morning, and the man in the car in front of us—complete stranger—surprised us by paying for it!"

"Sorta made me think of Salvation!" she added. "It's offered freely to all those who by faith believe, but only because it was paid for by someone else! However, in the case of Salvation, it wasn't a small bill to be covered... It cost Jesus everything! We owed a debt we could never repay, and yet in love, He stepped in and paid our debt with His life's blood. Forever grateful!"

Many of Jessa's 1.7 million Instagram followers were extremely curious if she and Ben continued the chain of paying it forward, a process of doing random acts of kindness in hopes of inspiring strangers to spread love and kindness as well.

"Did you keep the good going by paying it forward, @jessaseewald and @ben_seewald?" someone asked. Another commented: "Please tell me you paid it forward? Tsk tsk if you broke the chain!"

Meanwhile, others were just thankful for Jessa's inspiring message. "Thank you for using your platform to bring others to Jesus. I'm sure it's not easy being famous, but I think it's evident Christ is your strength. I am so glad to have a sister in Christ like you!" a fan wrote.
