The list of free games that Xbox Live Gold members can enjoy for the month of February 2015 has finally been revealed by Major Nelson, which includes three new free games featured on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Earlier speculations mentioned that "#IDARB" will be included in the upcoming list of free games for Xbox One under the Games with Gold program. With Major Nelson's recent posting, the 2D action-platform game developed by Other Ocean Interactive is confirmed to be released for free for the month of February. It is originally priced at $14.99.

Then starting Feb. 1, "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" will be available for free download for all subscribers of Xbox Live Gold using Xbox 360. The story-based puzzle-performer adventure game focuses on the lives of two siblings who are out to face all struggles in order to save the life of their father. Originally priced at $14.99, the Games with Gold program allows members to get hold of this game from Starbreeze Studios for free until Feb. 15.

Tactical shooter game fans playing on Xbox 360 who subscribe to Xbox Live Gold only need to wait until Feb. 16 to be able to get the third-person shooter called "Sniper Elite V2." Developed by Rebellion Developments, "Sniper Elite V2" concentrates on the adventures of American Office of Strategic Services Lieutenant Karl Fariburne in capturing the people behind the German V-2 rocket program. This can normally be purchased for $29.99, but the Games with Gold program releases it for free for Xbox Live Gold members until Feb. 28.

Meanwhile, Gamestop is currently doing a special online promotion wherein the 12-month membership cards for Xbox Live Gold that originally sells for $59.99 will be sold for a reduced price of $39.99. This can be used to start a new subscription to the exclusive Xbox Live Gold membership that offers the Games with Gold program each month. However, the deal is only available for U.S.-based Xbox users.
