Pre-orders for Nexus 6 from all major U.S. carriers, namely Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and AT&T, will start on Oct. 29 and will have a delivery date in early November.   Buyers will be able to purchase the newly-announced Google Nexus 6 at a lesser price and under a contract or through installment plans with the said carriers.

The availability of the new smartphone received a major upgrade from being available only through AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint networks. This means that Google is hoping to increase the sales of the device with the addition of U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless. The subscribers of Verizon and U.S. Cellular account for 123.5 million subscribers and 4.65 million, respectively. Verizon Wireless is the largest carrier in the U.S.

Google silently took the wraps off its flagship smartphone Nexus 6, which was previously rumored as Nexus X. The Nexus 6 is still available off-contract through the carriers, retailers and Google Play Store for $649. As for retailers, Best Buy is confirmed to sell the Nexus 6. Other merchants have yet to confirm if they will offer the new Nexus smartphone.

Google Nexus 6 boasts a 5.9-inch Quad HD screen, a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, and the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, and a 3220 mAh battery.  Consumers can choose between the 32 GB and 64 GB storage options.

Meanwhile, the pre-order for the Nexus 9 tablet started on Oct. 17, which is a day after the announcement of the device. The tablet is available in three versions including 16 GB ($399) and 32 GB ($479) WiFi versions, and an LTE-ready 32 GB ($599) model. Aside from Google Play Store, Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, Google Play, Office Depot, Office Max, QVC/HSN, Radio Shack, Staples and Walmart have been confirmed to offer the HTC Nexus 9.
