Justin Bieber leads 98 million Instagram followers in singing the Christian song 'Reckless Love'

Pop superstar Justin Bieber posted a touching rendition of the Christian song "Reckless Love" on his social media Monday night, giving his 98 million Instagram followers a taste of the Gospel.

The singer posted a video of himself singing the worship song in his car over his Instagram Stories. The clip was only a minute and a half long and Bieber captioned the entry with, "God's love is reckless and he loves you mad tons."

"There's no shadow you won't light up, mountain you won't climb up, running after me," Bieber crooned as he sat in the passenger's seat of a moving car. "The overwhelming, never ending reckless love of God. Oh, it chases me down, fights till I'm found," he continued.

Cory Asbury sang and co-wrote the original version of "Reckless Love" for Bethel Music. The song debuted at the number one spot at Billboard's Christian Albums chart in February. Bieber's rendition, on the other hand, comes as reports say he's planning to produce an all-Christian music album as a follow up to "Purpose."

"He is reshaping his sound so it is more in line with the church's values and beliefs," a source told The Sun. "There are key themes of love and redemption in the tracks he has created so far. It will certainly surprise some fans," the source added.

Bieber regularly attends Hillsong Church in Beverly Hills and Bieber is a fan of the church's music group, previously linking to one their songs, "I Surrender," on his Instagram profile.

Many fans responded positively to Bieber's latest faith-based Instagram post in the video comments section, with some saying they were happy to see the change in this once-troubled star.
