It has been confirmed that Jessa Seewald is pregnant.

Rumors that Jessa Seewald is pregnant were gaining traction after a fan allegedly spotted her buying maternity clothes earlier this month.

Jessa married Ben Seewald on November 1, and "19 Kids and Counting" viewers are eagerly awaiting a pregnancy announcement.

"Here's your scoop for today," Twitter user Jayci Goss wrote on April 3. "I just saw Jessa Duggar looking at the maternity and juniors sections at the Ross in Rogers."

The revelation was one of several recent occurrences that hinted that the 22-year-old may be expecting.

Last week, country singer Mark Wills shared a photo of himself, Ben, and Jessa at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, and fans pounced on the image of Jessa's slightly swollen abdomen.

"She has a baby bump starting. I think she is pregnant," one fan wrote on Wills' Facebook page. "Can't wait to hear the announcement."

A day after Wills posted the photo, Ben shared a picture of himself and Jessa sitting on a couch with another couple. Ben held a cowboy hat over Jessa's stomach.

Promotions for this week's episode of "19 Kids and Counting" have teased that the Duggar family has an announcement, and many are hoping that Jessa's pregnancy will be the surprise.

The Seewald have said that they plan to adopt children, whether or not they are blessed with biological kids.

"Kids are so important," Ben told PEOPLE Magazine in an interview published last month. "We hope to adopt a lot of kids. If God blesses us with biological children of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."

"Even before we married, we wanted to adopt," Jessa added.

Soon afterwards, the Duggar family clarified on their blog that the young couple's plans were temporarily on hold, as most agencies require couples to be married for at least two years before they can adopt.
