'Avengers Infinity War' spoilers, plot news: Cups for movie reveal who has the powerful Soul Stone

The Mighty Avengers are getting mighty spoiled by its promotional products, as a key plot point in "Avengers: Infinity War" might have been revealed accidentally.

Leaked images of cups designed with the characters of "Infinity Wars" have been a spoiler-filled subject of discussion by fans of the franchise since each cup with its character has been speculated to be the holder of an Infinity Stone. The said objects are the most powerful artifacts in the Marvel universe and being held by someone as powerful as the titan Thanos (John Brolin), can be the end of everything in the Marvel universe.

It can be recalled that the movie will revolve around Thanos trying to collect all the Infinity Stones in order to become uncontested by anyone and anything and some of the Stones happen to be posses by members of the Avengers. One Stone's location, however, remains in secret, as well as who among the characters might be possessing it and this is the Soul Stone. It is one of the most powerful Stones since it can be used to control both the living and the dead.

Per the revealed cup designs, it seems that the holder of the Soul Stone is none other than Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) a.k.a. Iron Man, particularly the chest piece he is wearing and is keeping him alive. Though this is only speculation and the art for the cups may actually mean nothing in relation to the holder of the stones.

There is, however, still a strong possibility that the speculations are accurate since each stone's color correlates to that of the cups' designs and shows its known holders based on the previous Marvel movies. As such, Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) holds the Time Stone in the form of the Eye of Agamotto, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) holds the Reality Stone, the Space Stone or Tesseract relates to Captain America (Chris Evans), the Power Stone relates to Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and the Mind Stone is held by Vision, as the glowing gem in his forehead.

Whether Iron Man will really acquire the Soul Stone or not will finally be revealed once "Avengers: Infinity War" arrives on Apr. 25.
