Robin Williams leaves behind three children and his third wife after he passed away August 11, 2014 in an apparent suicide.

It has been revealed that the actor hanged himself while alone in his house near San Francisco. No suicide note has been found.

Williams, 63, leaves behind three children.

He had his first child with first wife Valerie Velardi. Zachary 'Zak' Pym, was born April 11, 1983. Williams and Velardi divorced in 1988.

Williams' two other children with second wife Marsha Garces are Zelda Rae Williams and Cody Alan Williams. Zelda Rae was born July 31, 1989, and Cody was born November 25, 1991.

Zelda, who was named after the popular video game, took after her father and went into show biz.

Williams, 63, was a Christian and had been a member of the Episcopal Church. He previously described his denomination in a comedy routine as "Catholic Lite—same rituals, half the guilt."

Apart from his acting, Williams and his former wife, Marsha, founded a charity called the Windfall Foundation, a philanthropic organization to raise money for various charities. Throughout his life, he did a lot of charity work, including hosting the popular Comic Relief program, performing at various charity events, and supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Williams was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California on August 11, 2014. His death is suspected to be a suicide, but the official cause of death has not been confirmed as of yet. A forensic examination is set to take place on August 12, 2014.

The actor was reportedly battling severe depressing before his death.

His third wife, Susan Schneider, released a statement after the announcement of his death. "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."
