Android fans have become more excited about the release of Android N, and it is expected that they have to wait up to September to get a taste of the sweet new mobile operating system.

Android N, like the other operating systems that came before it, will drop this fall. However, since the final Developer build is expected to be ready by July, a possible August unveiling could be possible as well.

Meanwhile, the complete name of the upcoming OS is still being kept secret, but there are rumors it will be called Android Nutella.

Know Your Mobile, however, believes that it might be Android Nougat instead. Google sought the help of Android users in naming Android N so it should be something that most fans should agree with.

New Android updates usually come with new Nexus handsets that will don the OS in all its glory. However, it appears that the Nexus 2016 devices won't be the only ones donning Android N by September.

There are new reports claiming that some of Samsung's most recent releases will be first in line for Android N. Samsung has always worked on bringing new OS releases to its products first so this comes as a little surprise.

Save for the Active models, the Samsung Galaxy S6 line and the S7 as well as the Note 5 are expected to don the new software earlier than others.

Meanwhile, among the changes and upgrades being done on Android N, one that will divide users is the redesigned navigation buttons.

Reportedly, the new navigation buttons on Android N will be multi-colored that animate and change to various colors when long-pressed. The keys have been made opaque as well.

It is unclear why Google is changing up this aspect of Android N, especially since the current design hasn't been around for a while. Nevertheless, BGR says users will get used to it eventually.
