Microsoft believes that its Project Scorpio will be the most expressive game console ever.

Xbox Marketing head Aaron Greenberg told DualShockers that they plan to make their upcoming device the top game console product on the market.

According to Greenberg, the company carefully considered all the specs that they incorporated into the Project Scorpio to make sure that they can deliver real 4K gaming experience. They want the device to replicate the 4K gaming features that PC gamers spent thousands of dollars for.

The Xbox boss also revealed that they will bring six teraFLOPS of GPU power to the upcoming console's space, which will give it an astounding amount of power.

With all these powerful features in mind, consumers would want to know how much it will cost them to be able to get hold of the product. However, Greenberg could not give any specifics regarding the possible price range of the Xbox Scorpio.

"Well, we think about it as a premium product. From that standpoint, it is going to be a very high-end product," he said. "With that said, we're not talking at all about any more details about that, but what I can tell you is that what's exciting for me is that the fact that we can tell people now 'we're gonna bring a whole new console, with a whole new set of capabilities' and be able to innovate with the hardware without sacrificing compatibility, is something that really hasn't been done before in the console space."

Meanwhile, Greenberg also told Engadget in another interview that Microsoft is already thinking about a future "without console generation" with the start of Project Scorpio. "We're basically saying, "This isn't a new generation; everything you have continues forward and it works." We think of this as a family of devices," he stated.

Project Scorpio is slated to come out in holiday 2017.
