There's a new rumor going around that WWE SummerSlam will feature the long-awaited dream match between Undertaker and John Cena.
According to Wrestling News World, WWE CEO Vince McMahon is looking to make that match happen, although there's no guarantee it will happen because "there isn't an open line of communication with Undertaker."
This match might be unlikely and according to Forbes, Cena will likely be battling AJ Styles at WWE SummerSlam possibly to end the feud between the two.
For WWE Battleground, Cena will take on Styles and The Club (Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows) with the help of Enzo Amore and Big Cass in a tag-team match.
As for the chances of Undertaker vs. Cena happening, Wrestling News World believes that it might take place next year at Wrestlemania 33, should Undertaker agree to do the match.
"Undertaker's contract stipulates for him to have one match per year. He's already had a match this year and this could very well happen next year in Orlando, assuming communication is restored and Undertaker wants to come back," the source told the site.
For now, it looks like WWE is going to build up the Cena and Styles feud, which began during the Money in the Bank match, where Styles got help from The Club to defeat him.
It also happened when Cena was just returning from a hiatus, with Styles pretending to welcome him back only to beat him up again with Anderson and Gallows helping out.
WWE Battleground will be a different sight to see simply because Cena now has back up in the person of Amore and Big Cass, who are both being built up as WWE's newest tag team superstars.
Although WWE SummerSlam will unlikely feature Undertaker against Cena, there are hopes that this dream match will happen next year.
WWE SummerSlam will take place on Aug. 21 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
