WWE Summerslam 2016 predictions: Dean Ambrose not expected to lose; set to make a heel out of Dolph Ziggler?

By the end of the highly anticipated WWE SummerSlam 2016, Dean Ambrose is expected to keep his WWE championship belt around his waist. His victory will supposedly then jump start a feud with Dolph Ziggler.

Ambrose's victory is said to be a no-brainer seeing that WWE has yet to successfully build Ziggler as a threat to the champion as the second biggest WWE pay-per-view event draws closer.

While the company still has two weeks to develop The Showoff into a more menacing frame, Ambrose is still poised for the big win. After all, it has been said in the past that should Ambrose lose the championship, it won't be to Ziggler.

Bleacher Report points out that Ziggler is not doing well in harnessing the support WWE expects he would get leading up to his match against The Lunatic Fringe this August.

During his No. 1 contendership match with Bray Wyatt, the fans were obviously rooting for the latter, which showed that WWE has a lot of work to do in priming Ziggler for WWE SummerSlam.

However, it is believed that WWE has bigger plans for Ambrose's feud with Ziggler, whose win at the Six Pack match for the right to enter the Asylum came both as a pleasant surprise to fans.

The site believes that Ambrose will win the title at SummerSlam and Ziggler won't take it well and ends up beating up the champion in his anger, thus cementing him as a true heel and deepening the feud, which could stretch into other pay-per-view events.

Strictly Sports notes that nothing makes a heel better than a loss, which is expected to be the card WWE will be playing in Ambrose and Ziggler's match at WWE SummerSlam.

Bleacher Report says that Ziggler will make a good heel based on his previous feuds where he played the role. Not only will this take The Showoff's WWE moment to a new level, it will also help reinforce Ambrose as a true babyface.

WWE SummerSlam 2016 will take place on Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
