WWE rumors: Triple H vs. Seth Rollins clash set up? Kurt Angle confirms comeback talks with The Game

Is Triple H going after Seth Rollins for his WWE comeback? Instagram/tripleh

The latest WWE rumors hint that Triple H's big comeback will see The Game going straight for Seth Rollins, who was the World Heavyweight Champion until Dean Ambrose stole the belt.

Rollins was able to reclaim the title, which he was forced to relinquish following knee injuries. It was Triple H, who won the title after a tournament, but failed to defend it from Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania 32.

According to What Culture, Rollins will likely get back at Triple H for doing the safekeeping the title (albeit a really horrible job at it).

It remains to be seen what awaits Triple H when he returns to the WWE fold, but it is expected that Rollins will be standing by, thirsty for a comeback.

However, for now, Rollins is once again close to the World Heavyweight Champion belt. He was successful in nabbing the title from Reigns during their Money in the Bank ladder match.

Dean Ambrose cashed in after winning in his own MITB match and eventually stole the title from Rollins. The three were locked in a Triple Threat match, but Reigns' 30-day suspension on WWE changes the landscape.

In related news, WWE legend Kurt Angle, who was rumored to return to the WWE for the imminent Raw and Smackdown split, revealed in a new interview that he spoke to Triple H about his comeback.

"Will I return? Yes. I don't know when," Angle confirmed via Wrestling Inc, adding that he spoke to Triple H six weeks ago. At that time, the brand split wasn't even announced yet.

After the announcement of Raw and Smackdown being separated soon, Angle revealed that he hasn't been contacted yet specifically for the brand split.

At the moment, Angle does not know is WWE is still on the lookout for "older talent." Apart from him, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy and Goldberg were all rumored to return.
