Samoa Joe's debut on the WWE main roster has yet to come to fruition, but he already has his eye on a superstar he would like to duke it out with the moment he arrives.

"For selfish reasons, I'd like to see Brock stand tall until I get my hands on him," the NXT champion told Forbes. "I'd like to see Brock pull through so I can get my shot at him," he went on to say.

The Samoan Submission Machine said that there will be no better place to battle The Beast than Wrestlemania 33, which some even suggest should be a Hell in a Cell match.

Lesnar is scheduled to fight Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam 2016. The superstar's WWE history is an impressive one as he is the man who ended The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania 30.

Joe is one of the most feared superstars in NXT. He currently holds the title on the WWE developmental system and will defend it against Shinsuke Nakamura in today's NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Hollywood Life, Joe also said about when the right timing is for his debut in the main roster. "The perfect time is when either brand is ready for me to arrive," he said.

When asked if he will fit right in on Smackdown or Raw, he simply said that he is happy about the endless opportunities offered by both brands.

However, the NXT superstar emphasized t hat he has always been a "big proponent with quality over quantity." Joe also said that he want to be able to acquire the championships in WWE.

"I want to touch every piece of gold in the WWE! I think that is very accomplishable," Joe said. "I have that on my sights and I would like to say that I have held every championship in every company I have worked for. The WWE is no different," he went on to say.
