It looks like a feud between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose is brewing, at least if general manager of Smackdown Live Daniel Bryan decides to have these to go at it.

On the "Bear Hug It Out" podcast, Bryan admitted that he was most excited about Styles and Ambrose's inclusion in the blue brand and that The Phenomenal had to be in the lineup as much as the WWE World Champion.

"I'm really excited to get Dean Ambrose and I'm really excited to get AJ Styles," the GM admitted. His interest to have Styles on Smackdown was mainly because of his respect towards the 39-year-old.

"So, I've known AJ Styles for a long, long time. We wrestled each other for the first time, I think, in 2003, so yeah, 13 years ago, so it's neat to see him on this stage," Bryan went on to say.

While he did not hint on a having Ambrose and Styles clash, the fact that these two elicited the most excitement from Bryan shows the possibility, at least as per media outlets.

Should Bryan desire to see his personal best Smackdown draft picks go head to head – which for a big fan like him might blow his mind – he might end up making that happen.

However, for now, The Lunatic Fringe and The Phenomenal have respective dealings they are busy with. Ambrose will defend his title against Dolph Ziggler while Styles will settle the score with John Cena.

Styles was given the opportunity to win the right to challenge Ambrose for the championship, but WWE ultimately went for Ziggler.

A future feud may possibly happen, should Styles continue to go after the title. Fans will remember he made a case to be Roman Reigns' substitute at Money in the Bank in light of The Big Dog's suspension.

However, if the WWE SummerSlam 2016 predictions are to be believed, the champ will be busy with The Showoff. As per rumors, Ambrose will retain the title allowing for Ziggler to turn heel and be thirstier for the belt.

There are also rumors that Styles will go toe to toe not with Ambrose, but with The Viper Randy Orton.
