Wrestler Bobby Lashley is set for a comeback in the 34th season of Wrestlemania after wrapping agreement talks with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), an inside source tells.

According to a source from BodySlam, the former two-time Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) champion has agreed to make an official comeback in WWE, possibly at the kick-off for the latest season of Wrestlemania in April.

According to speculations, Lashley's comeback will see a new storyline, featuring him and Lesnar. It is said that both MMA fighters will likely be facing off each other in an exciting new twist in WWE's upcoming Wrestlemania season.

This announcement follows Ronda Rousey's official contract signing with WWE during the Elimination Chamber.

It can be recalled that in 2008, Lashley terminated his contract with the wrestling tycoon after suffering an injury during that season.

The 41-year-old wrestler went on to venture into the mixed martial arts scene after his stint in WWE where he earned a record of 15-2.

He is most famous for his role in the much-talked-about "Battle of the Billionaires" episode in Wrestlemania season 23, wherein current President Donald Trump appeared opposite Vince McMahon.

Even before this announcement, the successful MMA fighter has been rumored to make a comeback in the televised wrestling scene after finishing his contract with Impact wrestling.

There is still no exact date regarding Lashley's intended comeback, but Still Real To Us believes that his return will likely fall sometime after Wrestlemania 34's season premiere. And it will be anchored by whether Lesnar is planning to sign with WWE after his contract expires.

As of present time, WWE has yet to issue an official statement regarding the former wrestler's return nor has it confirmed if Lesnar is renewing his contract with them.

While fans should surely look forward to Lashley's return, nothing is set in stone yet. So, fans should take this new development with a grain of salt.
