With talks of WWE returns happening here and there, thanks to the recent brand split, more superstars and former talents are expected to be back, including Jake Roberts.

More famously known as The Snake, the hall of Famer expressed interest in making a comeback at WWE for the sake of the company, which he thinks "[needs] some help right now."

"I have so many things I want to do, so many things. When I'm sober and clean and my mind's working, I'm happy and energetic and I know I can fix this and do that," he said of his plans for his WWE return during an interview with DC 101 FM, via PW Mania.

"What do you choose? I don't know. But, if the WWE did call me, yeah, I'd be right back in there man because I love wrestling and the Lord knows wrestling needs some help right now," he went on to say.

From his statement, it looks like WWE is yet to approach Roberts for a possible return to. However, if he was to come back, fans can expect the show to fulfill his promise and make the show better.

Roberts officially retired in 2011, although he has been doing a bit of wrestling here and there. He was even a participant at the 2014 Royal Rumble.

The Snake's return is clearly yet to be set in stone, but it will surely make fans happy to see him back in action. For now, fans will have to wait on what WWE has in store for the legend.

During the interview, Roberts also spoke about his late wrestling pals and fellow WWE Hall of Famers Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes, describing them as "irreplaceable."

"Forget about it, there will never be anybody like Roddy Piper and there will never be anybody like Dusty Rhodes. It just blows my mind that I'm still here and they're not," he said.
