Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan is reportedly coming back to WWE.

Sources close to top WWE officials reportedly told Daily Wrestling News that Vince McMahon and the other executives in the company are considering bringing back the 62-year-old professional wrestler.

According to the source, the 12-time world wrestling champion is currently in good terms again with WWE after his contract was terminated by the company in 2015 due to his racist rant and sex tape controversy. If the source's information is valid, the company is just waiting for the right timing to bring the "Hulk Machine" back into the ring.

In November 2015, Triple H told the Morning Buzz that he hopes Hogan and WWE could patch things up.

"For me, I hope so. It's about reinvigorating his brand and him as a human being and the confidence within the world as to who he is. But the one thing about people in general, when somebody is on top, they love to see him fall and when they fall, they love to see him make that comeback," Triple H stated.

Hulk Hogan's contribution to the professional wrestling world made WWE famous. CBS Sports noted that his decision to join the World Championship Wrestling's New World Order (nWo) stable increased the fans' interest in the world of wrestling back in the mid-1990s.

According to the report, the sudden decision of Hogan to go against the organization that made him famous forced WWE to be more creative and look for more stars to join its roster.

Hogan recognized his contribution to the wrestling world on Twitter, saying that it feels like it was only yesterday when he, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall formed the now.

Hulk Hogan and WWE have yet to confirm if the rumors about his return are valid.
