There's a new rumor going around that The New Day and the Wyatt Family will battle it out in the upcoming WWE Battleground 2016.
While the feud was a big surprise to fans, it quickly became one of the most followed storylines in WWE in the recent weeks.
The purported WWE Battleground match, however, will be much more complicated as the pay-per-view match nears, seeing that there's a possibility that Xavier Woods turning his back on his teammates.
Rumor has it that Woods will on purpose have his team lose to the Wyatts at WWE Battleground, which will pave the way to WWE's alleged plans to split them up.
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that it is not woods but Big E who will betray his teammates during the fight. WWE allegedly plans to move him up the ranks and having him go solo will make that happen.
While reports are rampant that The New Day will break up soon, Bleacher Report believes that they will still be able to survive The Wyatt Family at the WWE Battleground.
However, there are still reasons to worry since WWE appears to have some big plans about the Big E, who is expected to make a heel turn sometime soon.
Meanwhile, there are some reports that WWE is trying to copy TNA's successful The Final Deletion show with a match between the Wyatts and The New Day although Chair Shot Reality's Justin LaBar believes that people would not mind.
"If WWE did do a match soon that's on the Wyatt Family compound, people are going to say they are copying, but who cares? People will still watch," LaBar said.
"The Final Deletion was a success so if they were "copying" something then at least it's something that got a lot of buzz... I do think WWE will try a match outside the ring," he went on to say.
However, contrary to other reports, it is not expected to happen at the WWE Battleground. Whether or not this will prove accurate remains to be seen.
WWE Battleground 2016 will take place on July 24 at the Verizon Center.
