WWE rumors: Roman Reigns to have Triple Threat match; Dean Ambrose going to lose?

Roman Reigns is expected to still be part of the WWE Battleground WWE.com

WWE Battleground was bound to be the stage The Shield reunites not to be one team again, but to beat each other up for the World Heavyweight Championship belt.

However, former champ Roman Reigns is in danger of losing his spot in the Triple Threat match after being suspended for 30 days due to a wellness violation.

Conveniently, his suspension concludes mere days before WWE Battleground, which should allow him to be in the running for the World Heavyweight Championship belt.

According to Sports World News, WWE timed the suspension and knew about it all along. This is why even though he was being poised to be the new face of WWE, the company took away the belt from him.

However, he can technically be in the WWE Battleground main event but the site says it will be offensive to those who have been working hard to score a booking on the show.

As for the Triple Threat match on WWE Battleground, rumor has it that Dean Ambrose will lose the title. It is unclear who will win between Seth Rollins and Reigns.

According to Cageside Seats, Ambrose will not hold on to the World Heavyweight Championship title as long as he would want to.

However, Sportsrageous believes that WWE should first check on how Ambrose is received as the champion especially since Reigns and Rollins did not do well ratings-wise when they were the champions.

The show following his big win earned much higher ratings when Reigns was the champion. Should WWE take advantage of this, The Lunatic might not lose his grip on the title at the WWE Battleground.

WWE Battleground will take place on July 24. Days before that, Reigns should be back and will make it to the Triple Threat match.

Apart from the fact that these three fighting their hearts out in WWE Battlegrounds are former teammates, it will definitely be exciting to see how they fare against each other on the same level of playing field.
