"World of Warcraft's" Classic version is currently in the works. Classic mode is a love letter to the early days of "World of Warcraft" and is a chance for both long-time fans and new ones to play a version of the game that took place before the addition of the "Burning Crusade" expansion pack.

The trailer for the "World of Warcraft" Classic version was uploaded on the game's official YouTube Channel on Nov. 3.

The trailer begins with a short narrative before throwing the players down a wormhole and past familiar sceneries and creatures. Several settings and characters are shown moving in reverse, and the video cuts away to a lone wanderer and his bear as they travel through snowy wastelands. The scenery then fades to announce that "World of Warcraft" will be bringing back its classic version for players to enjoy.

During Blizzard Entertainment's keynote at BlizzCon 2017, J. Allen Brack, Vice President of Blizzard Entertainment and Production Director of World of Warcraft said that they wanted to recreate the fun things they enjoyed from the original "World of Warcraft" game. They wanted to take the positive experiences from the former and bring them back, minus the bugs from the old game of course.

According to IGN, they spoke with Blizzard Entertainment at BlizzCon 2016 about the possibilities of legacy servers coming to "World of Warcraft." Since then Blizzard has been shutting down these legacy servers. One of the most popular servers that was shut down was the Nostalrius server.

Fans flocked to these servers to relive memories from their past "World of Warcraft" days, and now that the classic version has been announced, these long-time fans have been immensely happy.

No release date has been given as of yet, but people are already excited to hop back into "World of Warcraft."
