The Washington Wizards are going to say goodbye to their shooting guard and small forward, Alan Anderson who almost missed the regular season as he reportedly will be wearing jersey of Los Angeles Clippers in the upcoming NBA season, reports SB Nation.

Over a year ago, last February, Anderson inked his debut for Washington Wizards, which added current NBA seven year veteran to the squad. Unfortunately, since then he saw action 12 more times only as he underwent surgery for his ankle injury two weeks ahead of the 2015-216 , National Basketball Association (NBA) season.

The, 33-year-old forward / center player averaged five points, 2.1 rebounds, with 1.1 assists in 14.8 minutes per contest in the 2015-2016 season

The medical procedure, together with a groin injury, led Anderson to not perform well for Washington Wizards which triggers rumors that the team will not re-sign him. This seems to be happening as the veteran has now agreed to a deal with the Clippers. While Wizards are busy re-signing key players and also adding a number of players who will help them contend next season

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, the pact is yet to be finalized but it is expected that he is going to earn the former Michigan State Spartan a minimum $1.5 million

Wizards are having an awesome off-season concentrating on another wing player, which ESPN speculates, they may have found in undrafted new kid on the block Danuel House.

The Washington Wizards could get DeMarcus Cousins from the Sacramento Kings. The Wizards could rejoin John Wall with his previous Kentucky buddy from Sacramento Kings in an exchange that would send Bradley Beal to the Kings, as indicated by SB Nation's Ben Becker, who maintains that an arrangement for Cousins is worth considering by the Wizards.
