Hearts are still breaking after Beth (Emily Kinney) died in the midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" season 5, but spoilers are already saying that there might be another death coming for the remaining survivors when episode 9 airs next year.

In a sneak peak released by AMC shortly after "TWD's" midseason episode aired on Sunday, viewers saw someone digging while Maggie's (Lauren Cohan) heart-tugging sobs were heard nearby. The video also showed Noah (Tyler James Williams) crying, as well as an image of a bloody doorway. But, is the digging meant for Beth's grave or is it for someone else?

Several spoilers reported that somebody else will die after Beth, and speculations about who that will be have already started to pile up as early as now. There are reports suggesting that Tyreese (Chad Coleman) will be the next casualty in the show. A trailer shows him and Noah entering a house together, but Noah is later seen bloody and wailing alone. Could this mean that he has seen Tyreese being bitten by a walker? Also, Coleman has not been seen on the set when the production was filming episodes 9 and 10, which strengthens the speculations that his character might not last long this season.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest mysteries of the hit horror-drama series from AMC has finally been answered.

Since season one, fans have been speculating about Daryl's (Norman Reedus) real sexuality. There have been talks that he is either gay, asexual, or even bisexual, since he never had any love interests in the series since day one.

After the extra-devastating midseason finale of "TWD," creator Robert Kirkman treated fans with the answer to their longstanding question about Daryl's sexual preference during Sunday's "Talking Dead."

"Daryl Dixon is being somewhat asexual on the show," the series creator said. "I think that he's a very introverted character and I think that's somewhat his appeal. I do have to clear something up, though. In the Walking Dead letters column in the old comic book that I do, there was a question that made me mention that there was a possibility early on about making Daryl Dixon's character gay and it caused quite a hubbub online."

However, Kirkman made it clear that though he and the network would accept it if Daryl indeed turns out to be gay, he still confirmed that Reedus' character is very much straight. Further, Kirkman announced that a gay character will be introduced once the series returns next year.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 episode 9 will air on AMC on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015.
