The 90-minute season 6 premiere episode of "The Walking Dead" will be packed with lots of action sequences from the start. It is also expected to set the tone for the kind of danger that the survivors have to face in Alexandria for the rest of the season.

AMC released a short sneak peek of the premiere episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 through the "Talking Dead." It shows Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) in an awkward car ride with Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green).

Abraham asks Sasha if she is feeling good, and she curtly replies, "Yeah." After a series of small talk, Sasha confronts Abraham for being uncomfortable with her.

"If you were so worried, why the hell did you get into the car with me?" she says.

After the trailer was shown during the said broadcast of" Talking Dead" with host Chris Hardwick, "TWD" executive producer Scott M. Gimple talked about the events that will be featured in season 6 . According to Gimple, the upcoming season of the highly popular post-apocalyptic drama is "ginormous," and even the cast and crew were still in awe after getting the scripts.

Gimple also admitted that several characters will die in season 6, and fans of the show will be furious once they find out who will not survive. However, the executive producer said that even dead characters still have interesting stories to tell.

Meanwhile, Gimple earlier revealed in a past interview with Entertainment Weekly back in July that fans should expect to see more threats in season 6, aside from the vicious group called The Wolves.

"There are multiple threats, even in the first half of the season. And sort of different versions of threats we've seen before. The first three episodes are quite intense, and the cast and crew are — we just shot them out of a cannon directly into another cannon that we shot them out of again," Gimple shared.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 is slated to premiere on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 11.
