After several months of waiting, fans of History Channel's "Vikings" will finally get to watch the fourth season of the historical drama series.
Previous spoilers claimed that the life of the legendary Viking farmer turned King of Denmark Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) will be in danger after his successful raid in Paris.
This was recently confirmed by executive producer Michael Hirst in an interview with TV Insider, saying that things will start to fall for the iconic Norseman.
"His life from now on is in constant jeopardy," Hirst said. "His brother, Rollo (Clive Standen), may betray Ragnar again, and big time. His rule is never the same."
But despite his dwindling health, Hirst revealed that Ragnar will still have to make a very important decision about his long-time pal Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård), who killed Athelstan (George Blagden) in season 3.
Based on the trailer for the premiere episode titled "A Good Treason," the Viking leader will have Floki arrested for the crime he committed.
"You betrayed my trust and most importantly my love for you," Ragnar says in the trailer. However, the video shows that Ragnar is in despair to see his trusted friend being tormented.
But it seems like Rollo and Floki are not the only ones who could be suspected of betraying the King of Denmark, since the video reveals that his second wife Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) could also possibly betray him. She seems to be making her move to claim the throne as the leader of the Vikings because she believes that it is included in her birthright.
Meanwhile, a report from CrossMap revealed the titles for the next three episodes of "Vikings" season 4. According to the report, the second season will be called "Kill the Queen," but there is no information about which queen should meet her ultimate demise.
The third episode will be called "Mercy," which could possibly show Ragnar forgiving the one who betrayed him. The fourth episode will be called "Yol," a Turkish term for "The Way" or "The Road."
"Vikings" season 4 premieres on Feb. 18, on the History Channel.
