Things are getting more intense inside the mysterious dome shielding the town of Chester's Mill.

In the previous episode of "Under the Dome" season 3 titled "Cage," several people inside the barrier began to change drastically. While lives were lost, suspicions about each other's real agenda started to unravel.

Big Jim (Dean Norris) and Christine (guest star Marg Helgenberger) were in a war of words after being forced to be stuck with each other. They then parted ways when they learned that they were both abducted by the Aktaoin agents. Barbie (Mike Vogel) and Junior (Alexander Kock) rescued Christine from the hands of the ruthless Aktaion agents. Big Jim, on the other hand, killed Dr. Marston (Frank Whaley).

But while Christine was freed by Barbie and Junior, Sam (Eddie Cahill) decided to seek revenge on the strange newcomer in town by stabbing her behind her back after Abby died because of the pills that she gave her. However, Sam was not able to mortally wound her.

But more explosive events will happen in the upcoming episode of "Under the Dome" season 3 titled "Ejecta." According to the official synopsis for the upcoming episode, a disastrous meteor shower will affect Chester's Mill.

As the world outside the Dome is rocked by a catastrophic meteor shower, unexpected alliances form inside the barrier. Eva (Kylie Bunbury) tries to indoctrinate Barbie deeper into The Kinship and Big Jim and Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) turn to one another while isolated on Bird Island outside of town. Also, Joe (Colin Ford) is forced to accept help from Sam, the man who killed his sister."

Is the upcoming meteor shower a force of nature, or is it also brought by a still unknown source just like the dome?

"Under the Dome" season 3 episode 7 is scheduled to air on Thursday, July 30, on CBS.
