'Tom Clancy's The Division' DLC: Brooklyn-based mission and post-launch drones and weapons leaked

Tom Clancy's The Division Ubisoft

Ubisoft's post-launch plans for "Tom Clancy's The Division," which is released today, have been leaked in detail. Users on Reddit data-mined the game files, unearthing everything there is to know about what the game offers at launch as well as its DLC.

According to Reddit user Christian Riesen, weapons that might be available through DLC include the assault rifle G36, submachine guns like the UMP and the so-called "Swedish K," marksman rifles such as a Remington 700 and the M82, a shotgun called the SPAS12 and the FN 57. As for the complete list of weapons players will see right out of the gate in the game, check here.

Meanwhile, another Reddit user that goes by the name itsgamerdoc shared copious details about what to expect in "Tom Clancy's The Division" DLC. For starters, his data-mining has led him to discover a mission based in Brooklyn.

In previews of "The Division," Ubisoft showcased some part of the game set in the area despite the title located in Manhattan. As what is suggested by the leak, a Brooklyn mission won't be native in the game but will come as an expansion pack in the form of a Brooklyn precinct siege.

Meanwhile, Eurogamer reports that a small part of Brooklyn is actually set to appear in "Tom Clancy's The Division." The publication says that the opening of the game as well as the shooter's tutorial will take place under the Brooklyn Bridge.

The game files also suggested that a "Tom Clancy's The Division" DLC will bring in drones such as rotors, tazers and unmanned vehicles that involve an "explosion" and "gunner target."

Meanwhile, the Reddit users also discovered that "Tom Clancy's The Division" will offer 26 missions at launch. These missions can be completed half an hour at the least, which means players are looking at 11 hours of unadulterated gaming experience. Of course, players have different paces.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" is officially released to the PS4, Xbox One and PC today. Ubisoft has announced that the first DLC of the game, namely Underground and Survival, will first be available to Xbox One players as part of its exclusivity deal with Microsoft.
