The long wait for a fresh season of "The Walking Dead" will be finally over as the premiere episode of season 6 of the fan-favorite horror-drama series is right around the corner.
AMC has released the official synopsis for the episode titled "First Time Again," which reads:
"Rick and the group are still having trouble assimilating into Alexandria. Will a new threat bring them closer together or drive them further apart?"
With the next season of "The Walking Dead" is almost here, the persistent tipsters on The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page are already revealing several information regarding the plot for the upcoming season.
According to the spoilers, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) will start to be hesitant and unsympathetic towards Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam) when he attempts to assist in burying the dead bodies. Rick will also spend less time with his friend Morgan Jones (Lennie James) in the premiere episode.
It is also reported that Rick will discover a group of walkers contained inside a quarry. They were placed there by the original Alexandria residents. Rick told the community that they should get rid of the walkers before they get the chance to break away from their contained space. However, the barricade that imprisons the walkers break before Rick and the rest of the group can accomplish their goal. The episode will end in a cliffhanger after the accident.
Meanwhile, lead actor Lincoln warned fans in an interview with the NY Daily News that the premiere episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 will be pretty intense. "I think everyone is going to need a drink," Lincoln said. "A bow is being pulled back, and in the last 30 seconds of the premiere, that bow is released, the arrow flies, and the next eight episodes are about the fallout from what happened in those last 30 seconds."
"The Walking Dead" season 6 premiere airs on Sunday, Oct. 11, on AMC.
