Miley Cyrus will join the list of artists who will lend a hand to the next batch of aspiring musicians in "The Voice" season 10.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer made the announcement via her Twitter account that she will be a key adviser in NBC's sing reality competition. In an accompanying photo,  she is seen licking the red button at Christina Aguilera's chair.

Past key advisers on the show include Coldplay's Chris Martin in season 6, Taylor Swift in season 7, Nate Ruess and Reba McEntire in season 8, and Rihanna and Dolly Parton in season 9.

NBC Entertainment Alternative and Late Night Programming President Paul Telegdy talked to Today about how Cyrus will incorporate her talents in the next season of the long-running musical competition.

"When Miley speaks everyone pays attention. Our artists are very lucky to have the benefit of her instincts and wisdom. Our viewers will be treated to an inside look at one of the brightest minds in music and the entertainment industry who is at the forefront of pop culture," Telegdy said.

"The Voice" season 10 will also feature the return of pop superstar Christina Aguilera as one of the coaches this season after being absent in season 9. She will replace Gwen Stefani, who filled in for her last season.

The upcoming installment of "The Voice" will also feature the funny bickering between coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. The country music superstar managed to help four of his team members win in the competition, while the Maroon 5 frontman helped 3 contestants win the title.

Aguilera, Shelton, and Levine will be joined by another returning coach, Pharell Williams, whose expertise helped his team member win in season 8.

"The Voice" season 10 airs its two-part premiere special on NBC on Feb. 29.
