A heartbreaking goodbye will be featured in the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 6, but there will not be any deaths this time.
In episode 14 of the current season titled "Stay," Elena's (Nina Dobrev) younger brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) will finally turn his back on all the supernatural drama in Mystic Falls.
McQueen has been one of the original characters in the hit The CW show since season one, which is why fans are expected to have a hard time seeing his character leave the series permanently.
As expected, Elena will be one of the people most affected by Jeremy's departure to pursue his journey in an arts school. The upcoming episode will show the Gilbert siblings reminisce their happy days together.
Aside from the emotional trip down memory lane, the residents of Mystic Falls are also busy dealing with their other obstacles.
The synopsis for episode 14 of "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 posted by CarterMatt goes:
"It's Jeremy's last day in Mystic Falls and Elena puts on a brave face as they reminisce about their past. Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) find themselves growing closer as they prepare Caroline's family cabin for her mother to live out her final days. While packing up her office, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacInytre) turns to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) for help solving one of her remaining open cases involving Elena's parents. Elsewhere, when a violent confrontation with Enzo (Michael Malarkey) leaves Jeremy wondering whether he should leave or not, Matt (Zach Roerig) finds his own life on the line after Enzo lures him and Sarah Salvatore (guest star Tristan Mays) into his dangerous plan. Lastly, Caroline rushes to the hospital after learning her mother has taken a turn for the worse."
Does this mean that Caroline will also say goodbye to her mother soon?
