Does Yolanda Foster's involvement in the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" have something to do with her recent divorce with husband David Foster?

Earlier this month, the reality show celebrity and the mega music producer announced that they will be separating after nine years of being together and four years of marriage.

The former couple announced their split via an exclusive statement released by People. However, the reps of Yolanda and David chose not to reveal the reason behind the unexpected divorce.

But a source reportedly told the entertainment news site that the cause of the split involves Yolanda's continuous quest for fame through Bravo's hit reality show.

"Yolanda's obsession with fame for her and her children is the cause of the split," the source shared. "David didn't want to be part of the show, but he knew how important it was to her. He wanted to make her happy."

Other rumors claimed that David was also blaming Yolanda for the problems in his record label. "David's record label is shutting down ... and he is blaming her for this failure because he thinks the Housewives show has hurt him," a source told Page Six.

There are also several insiders saying that David was mad because Yolanda and her daughters overshadowed his relevance in pop culture. He was reportedly upset because Yolanda's appearance on the show helped her daughters Gigi and Bella Hadid become popular while his career dimmed.

"I'm sure he's upset her kids' careers are popping off and his aren't. He's competitive in that way," the industry source added.

But Yolanda is not the only cast member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" who is having problems with her family. According to Kyle Richards, she and her half-sister Kathy Hilton are not in good terms.

Reports claimed that Kathy did not invite Kyle during the wedding of her daughter Nicky but eventually invited her days before the actual wedding.

More drama is expected to unfold in the next episodes of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 6, airing Sunday nights on Bravo.
