Fans have a lot of reasons to look forward to the upcoming episode of "The Originals" season 5, including the much-awaited return of Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) to his hometown, New Orleans. Unfortunately, Klaus should not except a warm welcome upon his return, especially since the entity that forbids him and his family to reunite is still around.

"The Originals" season 5 episode 2, titled "One Wrong Turn on Bourbon," will highlight Klaus's return to New Orleans, as well as the trouble that will ensue as soon as he sets foot on this town.

According to the latest synopsis, Klaus will be forced to come home after the mysterious disappearance of Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin), the mother of his only daughter, Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell). This could be an opportunity for Klaus to be by his daughter's side in the midst of Hayley's disappearance, although he is still not allowed to be anywhere near Hope, or anyone of his siblings, due to The Hollow's threat.

To recall the aftermath of the fourth season, the Mikaelsons served as the vessel of an all-powerful and malevolent entity known as The Hollow, and the siblings must live far away from each other to prevent The Hollow from re-emerging to the world.

Now that Klaus is back in New Orleans, he is also putting his own daughter's life at risk, knowing that The Hollow once threatened to possess Hope.

As Klaus's return in New Orleans will result to the manifestation of The Hollow's dark magic, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) will ask help from Ivy (guest star Shiva Kalaiselvan) on how to stop the impending tragedy. Aside from Klaus, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will also make a comeback, although this will cause tension among the supernatural groups in New Orleans.

"The Originals" season 5 episode 2 will air on April 25 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
