Baby Hope will be in deeper danger than ever, after her great-aunt Dahlia (Claudia Black) comes back to New Orleans in the next episode of "The Originals" season 2 to take her away from her parents.

Dahlia will do everything that she can to get her end of the deal that she made with her sister Esther (Sonja Sohn) when the Mikaelson matriarch asked her for a fertility spell. The sisters agreed that Dahlia will get all the first born child of all generations under Esther's lineage.

Dahlia managed to get Esther's first child Freya (Riley Voelkel) centuries ago, but she is now back to take Klaus (Joseph Morgan) an Hayley's (Pheobe Tonkin) daughter Hope.

In his recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Morgan talked about Dahlia's arrival in New Orleans.

"It's just so exciting that they got the casting so right because I was so worried," Morgan said.

"We built up Dahlia for a long time—if someone comes in and is terrible or really isn't frightening in any way or something, that's the season ruined. But Claudia Black is just wonderful. First of all, she's a veteran at sci-fi and fantasy. She knows what she's doing, so she's really able to handle the intensity of those speeches about curses and witches and wolves and vampires and all of that stuff, which is a whole other skill set to teach at drama school," the actor added.

Meanwhile, several spoilers for the season finale claimed that Freya's alleged dead child could actually be alive.

A hint about this plot development was provided by Project Casting, which reported that the horror-fantasy drama is currently looking for an adult female actress to appear as a stand-in for a child actor on the series.

"The Originals" season 2 is currently on hiatus, but the series will return on Monday, April 6.
