More details about the second season of "The Man in the High Castle" are starting to be exposed.

According to a report from Deadline, "The O.C." alum Tate Donovan has been tapped to portray a recurring role for the second season of the highly watched alternate history thriller.

The report said that Donovan will portray the role of the mysterious character named George Dixon who is linked to Juliana's (Alexa Davalos) past.

The cast also revealed during the press roundtable that Bella Heathcote also joined the cast as the Berlin-born documentary film director Nicole Becker. According to the actress, her character is "more into her films than she is into Nazi ideals." She also teased that her character grew up with a very privileged background, which could affect her views as a filmmaker.

Heathcote also revealed that Nicole is very fascinated with Joe Blake (Luke Kleintank), because she feels like he stands out against anyone that she has met.

Other speculations claim that the titular character will be finally revealed in the upcoming season of the Amazon Original Series. According to reports, the two possible characters who could be called the man in the high castle are Nobusuke Tagomi (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) or John Smith (Rufus Sewell). While Tagomi was very vocal in protecting Juliana in the first season, John's closeness to Hitler did not stop him from releasing videos than can be used against the Nazis.

Meanwhile, co-executive producer Dan Percival revealed the events of the opening scene of the second season premiere during the panel at the 2016 SDCC.

"It opens in a school, and it's an ordinary day in an American high school, and we join Thomas getting off the bus, going into his class and seeing the girl he likes and settling into his classroom. Being asked to step forward to read the pledge, [He] very proudly goes up with his hand in his heart, and he pledges allegiance to the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler," Percival said, as reported by TV Overmind.

"The Man in the Hugh Castle" season 2 is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime this fall.
