The Wii U console has been poor in terms of sales performance, but it will soon be the home of the highly anticipated game "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U now known as "Breath of the Wild."

According to reports, more and more third-party developers continue to ditch the Nintendo console, which does not have the most impressive lineup of games available, part of the reason it was lagging behind the console race.

With it, the Wii U might once again finds its way to greater relevance as it will be the go-to for fans who want to experience the latest of what the world of Zelda and Link has to offer.

However, the release of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" might turn things around for the Wii U. After all, it is the most highly anticipated game from Nintendo.

However, it looks like "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is also one of the main attractions for Nintendo's much-awaited console, the Nintendo NX.

"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U was supposed to be released this year. However, Nintendo delayed it to March 2017 to make room for the game's launch to the Nintendo NX as well.

There's no information on the release timing of the Nintendo NX, but it is believed that it will also see the light of day by that month as well.

However, if there is truth in the reports that it will be further delayed so Nintendo can further tweak the game, "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U might boost Wii U as fans would want to get their hands on the game as early as they can.

"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U is the biggest game ever created by Nintendo to date. It will be a dozen times bigger than "Twilight Princess."

The game was playable at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 where gamers got to explore the Great Plateau.
