'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' update patch launched; what's new?

The hit action-adventure roleplaying game (RPG) "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" recently launched a new update path. While the brand-new patch is not exactly gameplay changing, it does add a few things worth looking at to the already critically acclaimed game.

Known as patch 1.5.0, here is what it brings to the game:

New languages. According to Game Spot, the latest update added Korean and Simplified Chinese to the game's language text. Players who want to use the Chinese or Korean subtitles can do so by accessing the Nintendo Switch's language setting menu. While the game fully supports subtitles now, there will however be no voice acting for both.

According to Nintendo's patch notes, various bugs have also been fixed. However, the specific bugs that were fixed by patch 1.5.0 have not been specified.

"The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild" was released for both the Wii U and the Nintedo Switch in March of 2017. Fans of the Zelda franchise had been waiting for the latest game, and when it released, it was met with overwhelmingly positive responses. Fans everywhere rejoiced at the amount of details Nintendo placed in the game and at the nostalgic throwbacks to older "Legend of Zelda" titles.

In "The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild," fans are once again thrown into the shoes of "Legend of Zelda" franchise protagonist Link. Unlike previous games, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is set in an open-world and players are allowed to roam and explore at their leisure. However, underneath the game's brightly colored exterior is a darker plot – Link awakens with no memories and Ganon (who has been sealed away) has been growing stronger. Link must regain his memories and help save the Kingdom of Hyrule.

"The Legend of Zelda" originally released in 1986 and has continued to produce new games ever since.
