"The Incredibles 2" is still three years away, but there is already an assortment of plot speculations on what the sequel that is 15 years in the making will be all about.

According to the latest reports, baby Jack-Jack, who was introduced in the first movie as the youngest Incredible, will be in his teens in "The Incredibles 2."

The sequel is rumored to take place 15 years after the first movie so fans will get to see Jack-Jack as a teenager while his sister Violet and brother Dash as well as his parents will be much older as well.

"The Incredibles 2" is actually rumored to center on Jack-Jack and his journey to mastering his fiery power. For a refresher, it was because of Jack-Jack that his superhero family got to beat Syndrome in the first film.

However, it was merely a fluke. If anything, it did show that Jack-Jack is very powerful and if his abilities are not left in check, he could be dangerous. This very premise is rumored to be at play in "The Incredibles 2."

More than that, his emotions and how intense they are also play a role in how his abilities work. This is speculated to make it harder for him to manage his powers.

Because of this, some speculations say that he because he is still too impressionable, he can be an asset to bad guys. Such struggle with his powers might even turn him into one in "The Incredibles 2."

Meanwhile, although Jack-Jack might be a potential villain in "The Incredibles 2," rumor has it that a new superhero will rise to the occasion—Edna Mode.

The fashion designer, who creates costumes for superheroes, is rumored to make a superhero debut in "The Incredibles 2." The film is then expected to shed some light on her heroic background.

As for official updates, Brad Bird, who returns to direct and write the story for the sequel, hasn't given any updates ever since the film was greenlit. He, however, aims to put together a plot that is better than the original.

"The Incredibles 2" hits the big screen on June 21, 2019.
