Jude (Hayden Byerly) was devastated when his boyfriend Connor (Gavin MacIntosh) decided to move to Los Angeles during the midseason finale, but his sadness will not stay for long after spending time with a new friend when "The Fosters" return for the second half of season 3.

Broadway World revealed that the youngest adopted child inside the Adams-Foster household will be spending more time with a new friend named Jack, whom he and his older sister Callie (Maia Mitchell) met during a foster youth event. But based on the official synopsis for the episode titled "If and When," Callie will be surprised to see Jude spend a lot of time with his new friend.

Could Jake help Jude get over the hurt that he felt when Conner left to be with his mom in Los Angeles?

Meanwhile, the synopsis also revealed that Brandon (David Lambert) and Callie's ex-boyfriend Mat (Jordan Rodrigues) will work together to come up with a rock musical for their senior thesis project inspired by William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." The two will reportedly get into conflict when they have to choose who must portray the role of Juliet in their musical.

The episode will also feature Jesus's (Noah Centineo) sudden interest to know more about his and Mariana's (Cierra Ramirez) biological father. He will reportedly talk to Ana (Alexandra Barreto) to get information regarding the identity of the man that he never met in his entire life. Will the twins finally get to know who their biological dad is?

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"Callie is surprised to find that Jude is spending time with Jack, a quirky foster teen they met at a foster youth event. Brandon and Mat decide to write a Romeo & Juliet rock musical as their senior thesis project, but they disagree over who should play Juliet. Meanwhile, Jesus asks Ana about the identity of his and Mariana's birth father."

"The Fosters" season 3 episode 13 is slated to air on Monday, Feb. 8, on Freeform.
