The shocking deaths, the revenge plots and the revelations will finally culminate in one big epic "The Blacklist" season 3 finale (episode 23), which will see Red hindered by one final hurdle to seeing face to face the man who ordered Liz's death.
Titled "Alexander Kirk: Conclusion," the season-ender promises a betrayal from someone who appears to have been secretly working for Kirk the whole time and trying to sabotage Red and the task force's plans.
The promo for "The Blacklist" season 3 finale teases that Ressler might be the mole in the team. The clip showed the agent pointing his gun to Red's head as he was about to assassinate Kirk.
However, Melty believes that Ressler's principles and his strict implementation of these will make him unlikely as the infiltrator. It could be that he was just threatening Red to stop but has no plan on pulling the trigger.
The betrayal mentioned in "The Blacklist" season 3 finale might have something to do with Tom, who was revealed to be Scottie Hargrave's son in episode 22 of "The Blacklist" season 3.
The criminal boss does not know it yet but Tom, whose real name is Christopher, appears to have been affected by what he learned and may have clouded his perspective of all this.
Tom ran off with baby Agnes, as revealed in "The Blacklist" season 3 finale promo. It remains to be seen why he did but Red won't be happy about it at all. In fact, he will not stop until he catches up with them.
Kirk has already revealed that Liz's baby is also one of his targets. Does Tom know something that Red's group doesn't prompting him to leave immediately or is he onto something sinister?
Red and his team are closing in on Kirk. He is ready and is actually dying to put a bullet through his head to avenge Liz's death. Will it go his way in "The Blacklist" season 3 finale?
Fans also hope that Liz's true fate will be revealed in "The Blacklist" season 3 finale. Rumors, however, have been suggesting her big comeback won't happen until "The Blacklist" season 4.
