Tom holds on for dear life in "The Blacklist" season 3 episode 15 titled "Drexel." After falling victim to a set-up engineered by his ex-girlfriend Gina in the last episode, Liz's baby daddy was shot. The promo for the installment teases that Tom's life is "hanging by a very thin thread."

Apart from hoping and praying that Tom survives, Liz will attempt to find out what caused the man's agony. She decides to confront Red to know if he has something to do with what happened and he uttered words that will have fans thinking he orchestrated the disaster that befell on Tom.

"He's reckless, dangerous," Red tells Liz about Tom in the promo for "The Blacklist" season 3 episode 15. "He is not worthy of being your husband and is sure as hell not worthy of raising that child," he maintained.

This tragedy will have Liz thinking if starting a family in the midst of this level of danger is the way to go. The synopsis teases that Liz will consider her options and she might even mull over terminating the pregnancy so as to save her child from a life full of threats and deaths.

As all this stress is thrown at Liz in "The Blacklist" season 3 episode 15, she will accompany Red in investigating the murder of the founder of a successful internet start-up. Red believes that the manner of killing matches that of a "notorious killer."

As if that wasn't enough, Liz will also be dealing with the past she has always sought to make sense of. Red learned crucial details about Liz's mother's whereabouts, which he revealed in the previous episode. In the next installment, it looks like more vital info about her will come to light.

"The Blacklist" season 3 episode 15 "Drexel" airs Feb. 18 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
