Sheldon's beloved grandma will finally get to meet the gang in the next episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 titled "The Meemaw Materialization." Actress June Squibb will play the role of Sheldon's sweet and kind granny.

The Caltech physicist is overjoyed about Meemaw coming over and getting to know his long-time friends, but things will easily take a wild turn when his grandmother and his girlfriend fail to get along.

In this "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode, Meemaw is yet to forget about the time Amy broke up with her beloved grandson. Being overly protective of her baby, she digs up the not-so-distant past and gives Amy a hard time for it.

[Spoiler Alert!] While Meemaw is downright wrong about her accusations, she is right about one thing – Sheldon sought to marry his on-and-off girlfriend. However, because of their breakup and eventual reconciliation, Amy never knew about this.

This "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode will finally see Amy learn the truth about Sheldon's previous plans to pop the question before the split. Sadly, instead of Sheldon, it will be Meemaw who will let this very big cat out of the bag, which may cause a bit of trouble.

It remains a mystery what this big revelation will do to their relationship and what Amy will feel knowing that she and Sheldon were actually so close to being engaged even though they were also on the brink of breaking up.

Apart from all this Meemaw mayhem, this week's "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode will also show Raj starting to become unsure of his relationship with Emily after he and Howard meet a new female friend in Stuart's comic book store. This dilemma will continue to hunt Raj in the Valentine's Day special of the sitcom, which is titled "The Valentino Submergence."

For now, fans will have to see what happens in "The Big Bang Theory" season 9, episode 14 "The Meemaw Materialization" airing Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
