While the rest of the world waits for the release of "Tekken 7" for consoles, Bandai Namco unveiled a brand new trailer of the popular fighting video game during the Tokyo Game Show 2016.

The new trailer appeared to be cinematic at first, but all the action began halfway through the clip. It showed the varied fighting skills of some of the game's playable characters like Akuma and his fireball technique. According to reports, the Satsui dark master will portray a significant role in one of the game's storyline.

According to Anime News Network, Bandai Namco centers the game's storyline on the group of exorcists called the Archers of Sirius led by Claudio Serafino. Their main goal is to banish all the supernatural entities that were roaming the world since the ancient period. While the organization would like to keep their existence a secret, it still managed to come out. This led Mishima Zaibatsu to ask them to join the group. Since the group refused to allow Mishima Zaibatsu to join them despite his pressure, as well as the countless reports of harassment, Claudio Serafino had to investigate why the evil corporation is determined to infiltrate the group.

Meanwhile, "Tekken" game designer Michael Murray talked to Tekken Gamer to discuss more information about "Tekken 7."

According to Murray, Bandai Namco is still exploring their options if they want to include a PlayStation VR support in the PlayStation 4 edition of "Tekken 7," and they are still undecided if they will also include a version for PlayStation 4 Pro.

The game developer also teased what players should expect regarding its game mechanics. "The base gameplay is pretty much done for the most part, besides game balances. However, there may be some game mechanic twists in Story Mode," Murray said.

The arcade edition of "Tekken 7" was officially released in Japan in March 2015, but gamers all over the world will finally have a copy of the fighting game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in early 2017.
