Fans of "Teen Wolf" were worried when news came out that Tyler Posey will leave his iconic role as Scott McCall in the hit teen supernatural horror drama series. But Posey finally denied the rumors via Twitter, saying that he will not leave the show anytime soon.
In his post, Posey said: "Teen wolf is my baby and I would never leave."
This means that Posey's Scott will return in the second half of the season to start rebuilding his friendship with Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), which was almost completely damaged during the first 10 episodes of "Teen Wolf" season 5.
But according to series creator Jeff Davis in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, patching things up between Scott and Stiles will not be that simple and it will not instantly happen when the show returns.
"Our theme for season 5B is resurrection, so we're going to be bringing the band back together, as they say, and it's all going to be on Scott's shoulders," Davis said. "He's got to learn from his failures — it's up to him to give them hope again, as Melissa (Melissa Ponzio) tells him. Scott and Stiles [will also try to] both rebuild their relationships — Stiles and Malia (Shelley Hennig) are essentially broken up, Scott and Kira (Arden Cho) have been torn apart — and we'll see if they can get back together."
Davis also shared what's in store for the other characters in the series. According to the show creator, Kira will return in the second half of season 5. This is after she and her mother Noshiko (Tamlyn Tomita) fled Beacon Hills in season 5 episode 8 when she realized that her fox spirit was deeply bothering her.
Also, Malia discovered before the midseason finale that the notorious Desert Wolf (Marisol Nichols) is actually her mother who is bent on killing her. Will the Desert Wolf actually kill her?
"Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 11 will air sometime in January 2016.
