The battle between major U.S. retailers is starting to sizzle as the countdown for Black Friday deals begin to heat up.

With just two weeks before Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, major retail stores like Target, Walmart, Lowe, and Best Buy already revealed their ads for this year's discounted deals. As expected, most of the items that will be given huge discounts include television sets, Apple gadgets like iPads, and headphones.

Target announced that they will be selling 60-inch Samsing Smart LED HDTVs for only $797.99, which is $302 less than the original price. The Xbox One "Assassin's Creed Unity" Pack will be sold for just $329.99 with a $50 gift card, while the Nikon L330 cameras only have a $99 price tag. Target's deal for Beats by Dre headphones is set at only $97.

Meanwhile, Best Buy deals have also been announced. They also offer great discounts on television sets, like the 50-inch Panasonic LED TV that sells for only $199.99, while the Samsung 55-inch LED UHDTV has a price tag of $899.99. A $100 discount is also given to those who will buy a Dell Inspiro 15.6-inch Touch-Screen Laptop, which is offered for just $299.99. The iPad Air 2 is also given a $100-off deal for each variant, starting at $399.99.

Walmart's Black Friday deals are just as grand, with a jaw-dropping $648 price tag for a 65-inch Vizio Smart LED HDTV, while several 50-inch LED HDTV units sell for as low as $218. The iPad Mini 16 GB with WiFi will be sold for just $199 plus a $30 gift card.

The annual Black Friday shopping event became controversial this year after retail giants decided to open their doors in time for Thanksgiving dinner, which requires the staff to work instead of having dinner with their families for Thanksgiving.

There is also a report in Beaumont, California wherein two females reportedly started falling in line at a Best Buy store as early as Nov. 5.  The women are camped outside of Best Buy to ensure their spot in the line once the deals are opened on Nov. 27.

"We could have started later, but then we wouldn't be sure to get first in line," Ms. Torres said Friday. "They only get a few items at the cheaper prices and it's first-come, first-served."
