The premiere episode of "Switched at Birth" season 5 is still far from airing, but series creator Lizzy Weiss is already starting to say goodbye to the family drama.

In one of her recent Twitter posts, Weiss announced that the finale of the series is already finished and showed a photo of the writers' building in Santa Clarita, California.

But fans of the series will have to wait a while before they get to see how the story of Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) will wrap up, since the series creator earlier announced in March that the next installment of the series will grace the small screen sometime in 2017.

While Weiss did not discuss the reason why the series will take more than a year off from the screen before the premiere of season 5, several fans speculated that the show will give way to some of the new shows on Freeform, including "Dead of Summer," "Guilt," and "Beyond."

But most of the cast members of the show continuously share production updates on social media, including the family photo of the Kennish-Vasquez families uploaded by Leclerc during the last day of filming as well as the photo of Toby's (Lucas Grabeel) and Lily Summers' (Rachel Shenton) baby.

The network also revealed the titles of the upcoming episodes of "Switched at Birth" season 5. They are as follows:

  1. The Call
  2. This Has to Do with Me
  3. Surprise
  4. Relation of Lines and Colors
  5. Occupy Truth
  6. Four Aged in Life
  7. Memory (The Heart)
  8. Left in Charge
  9. The Wolf is Waiting
  10. Long Live Love

The 10-episode final season of "Switched at Birth" will say goodbye with a special 90-minute episode.
