The dust has not yet settled following the gruelsome battle against Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) in the previous episode of "Supernatural" season 13, and fans are likely to see more intense showdowns in the upcoming episode this week as two individuals will have to deal with their respective unfinished business.
In episode 20, the Archangel Gabriel (Richard Speight Jr.) is ready to get his revenge, while Jack (Alexander Calvert) is determined to settle his issues with Apocalypse Michael (Christian Keyes), once and for all.
"Supernatural" season 13 episode 20 is titled "Unfinished Business," which is very fitting to what the characters are aiming to do. For one, Jack has finally grown tired of hiding from the Apocalypse version of Michael, and according to the latest synopsis for episode 20, the Nephilim is ready to take the fight to his enemy. Unfortunately, things may not go as smoothly as he thinks, as Michael could have prepared a trap for him.
Jack is also expected to meet with Apocalypse Kevin (Oscric Chau) as he rushes to Michael's chamber. Kevin will try to pursuade Jack that he really means no harm, in spite of all the trouble that he had caused him and Mary (Samantha Smith) when they were first trapped in the Apocalypse world.
However, spoilers suggest that Jack will be careless in dealing with his enemy, and it is possible that trusting Kevin will be the reason for Jack's plan against Michael to fail.
On the other hand, Gabriel will make a disastrous return in "Supernatural" season 13 episode 20, and this time around, no one can stop him from exacting his revenge.
The promo reveals that the archangel has prepared a nasty surprise for the demigods who sold him to the now-deceased Asmodeus (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), and Gabriel wants to drag Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to his own mess.
Aside from opening a rift to the Apocalypse world to save Jack and Mary, it looks like the Winchesters also have to deal with a scorned archangel in this week's episode.
"Supernatural" season 13 episode 20 will air on April 26 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
